    A recent inspection of a Denny's restaurant in Melbourne, Brevard County, revealed 14 violations, including three high-priority infractions, by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation. While the popular diner was not ordered to close, a follow-up inspection was required to address the issues.

    The initial September 10, 2024 inspection revealed three high-priority and 11 basic violations. A follow-up review on September 11 found only two remaining issues, allowing the restaurant to meet inspection standards, according to state records.

    High-priority violations included the presence of a small flying insect in the kitchen and temperature management issues for cold-held foods. The inspector's note revealed that raw chicken, burger patties, ham, and hash browns were found at temperatures above the required degrees, resulting in a Stop Sale order.

    Additional violations included basic issues such as ceilings and floors that needed cleaning, equipment in poor repair, and standing water in the kitchen.

    The Denny's diner, located at 4530 W New Haven in Melbourne, Florida, is known for its all-day breakfast and American comfort food. The Brevard County restaurant holds a 4.0-star rating from 2,895 Google reviews.
