Troy police searching for car thieves

TROY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Troy police are looking for two suspects accused of stealing a car from a parking lot. Police said the victim left her vehicle running while inflating her tires.

Police said two suspects got into the car, hit the victim in the face, and drove off. It happened around 9:30 p.m. near Second Avenue and 112th Street.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at (518) 270-4411.

It was a group of teenagers not just two individuals. This was my 80 year old neighbor and she’s the sweetest old lady. She has her car back but it is damaged from their joy riding and smells heavy of weed plus they spilled their shake all over the back seat while trying to roll up.

People we been told on the news and news media to turn off your vehicle and lock your doors when not being in your vehicle, there’s been car theft for a long time now, sad that the lady got hurt…. But next time she’ll turn off the vehicle and remove the keys or fob…..
