    Columbia River Gorge: Stunning Fall Foliage & Scenic Delights

    The Scenic Columbia River Gorge offers great sightseeing from both Washington and Oregon. The area, straddling the border between Washington and Oregon, is known for its spectacular waterfalls and scenic views. Fall foliage adds an extra layer of beauty to the landscape. This scenic drive offers some unique experiences.

    If you’re looking for a short getaway or somewhere to see more of the spectacular fall foliage for a few days, here are a few places you can enjoy while spending time in the scenic Columbia River Gorge.

    Multnomah Falls is an iconic waterfall with a drop of 620 feet. The view from the bridge is spectacular! Make sure to wear good walking shoes and walk the trails. You won’t want to miss a thing.

    Hood River is Known for its windsurfing and kiteboarding. This charming town offers great shops, restaurants, and wineries. Plan to spend a day or more enjoying some of the local fare and wine tasting.

    Vista House at Crown Point This historic viewpoint provides panoramic views of the gorge and the Columbia River. This is an ideal spot to capture spectacular photos of the gorge and the Columbia River.

    Latourell Falls is a lesser-known but stunning waterfall. It's an easy hike to reach and features unique basalt columns. Again, make sure you’re wearing good walking shoes.

    Angel's Rest is A popular hiking trail that offers breathtaking views of the gorge, especially at sunrise or sunset. There’s nothing quite like a sunrise or a sunset to start or end your day.

    Rowena Crest Viewpoint This spot is famous for its winding road, stunning gorge vistas, and surrounding landscape. Lovely vistas of the countryside await your viewing pleasure.

    Dog Mountain is a challenging hike rewarded with incredible views and vibrant wildflowers in the spring. If you’re up to a more challenging hike, this is the hike for you.

    The Columbia River Gorge Scenic Highway is A beautiful drive with numerous overlooks and access to waterfalls. Bring a picnic and plan to take your time to avoid missing anything.

    Oxbow Regional Park is lovely for picnicking, hiking, and relaxing on the riverside. You’ll find plenty of relaxation here.

    Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail is perfect for biking and hiking, and it offers access to various waterfalls and scenic views. Whether you’re a hiker or a biker, you’ll love these trails.

    There’s so much to explore, from outdoor activities to breathtaking landscapes! Visit one sight or visit them all. Make sure to bring your camera along to preserve your memories.
