The ribbon cutting for Septic Solutions was held Sept. 18 at noon at 706 Martin Luther King Blvd. Alex Johnson gave an address on behalf of the company. “This is a big important day for us, something we’ve been looking for, for awhile.”

Johnson talked about the long hours and dedication their team had invested that led to the opening. He told how they didn’t see the building as simply a business. “It’s a hub of opportunity. This is a career path for growth for everybody, not just ourselves, but the community as a whole.”

He praised the community’s response to their efforts. “Thank you so much for the welcome you gave us.” He told how they had received support at every turn.

Johnson also praised the support of their affiliates. “With our partners, SNS Concrete and CE family, . . .without their support, none of this would have been possible. They have been tremendous.”

He praised their philosophy. “They want to better everyone around them, not just themselves, which is hard to find in today’s world.” He told how their support was crucial. “They give you the courage to succeed in this difficult world we live in today.”

After the ribbon cutting, Johnson gave more details about the company. “We’ve been in business as Septic Solutions since June of 2021. It was the creation of SNS concrete and the CE family. Since that time, we’ve brought on three different Master Plumbers, Jason Mathis, formerly a roto-rooter, 30 plus years-experience. Keith Jones, of Jones Plumbing, with 30 plus years of experience.” Johnson also has 12 years of plumbing experience working in the Albany area.

He noted the growth of their company. “Since 2021, the creation of the company, we’ve come from four employees to now employing over 30 people. This is our second location.”

Johnson detailed the range of services they provided for the community. “Anything plumbing wise or septic wise, from the basic of repairs to new construction, both residential and commercial, septic system installs, septic pumping.”

He summed up their mission. “The way we like to say it is if it’s got waste or water going to it, or from it, we’ll work on it.”
