    Richmond Police investigating after woman grazed by bullet

    RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Police Department is investigating after it said a woman was grazed by a bullet in the city’s East End Wednesday night.

    According to police, officers responded to a report of gunfire on the 2100 block of W Street at around 10:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18. When they got to the scene, the officers saw a vehicle speeding by the area and stopped it.

    In the vehicle, the officers found a woman who had been grazed by a bullet on her right knee. She was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at the scene.

    Police are investigating this incident, anyone with information is asked to call Richmond Police at 804-646-5112.
