A proud Chihuahua dog mama was staying at a hotel with her pup when she had to use the elevator to take the dog downstairs so he could go outside and conduct his business.
When she went back in the elevator to return to her hotel room a couple entered the elevator and moved far away from her and her dog. When they were getting ready to leave the elevator the husband apologized and explained his wife was afraid of her dog.
The hilarious video was shared by the TikTok account for @ Rhyanncrosby and people are loving this chonky little baby. One person commented, "I'm sorry Ma'm. That's a potato." Another added, "Maybe they were scared he was gonna pop."
I'm sorry but he'a absolutely adorable! Yes, dog phobias are real and I can totally sympathize with anyone afraid or uncomfortable around dogs but the man said his wife was afraid of this dog . Not all dogs .
One person in the comment summed it up perfectly with why he felt the lady was afraid, and he commented, "Were they carrying dinner? Because...."
Overweight dogs are no laughing matter because it can affect their quality of life but sometimes you can't help but laugh at how cute they look. If your own dog is suffering weight issues, here are some tips.
How To Keep Your Dog at a Healthy Weight
Losing weight is difficult, whether you are a human or an adorably chonky puppy. You need to remember that it will take patience for your pup to drop the weight, because they didn't get overweight overnight!
Your first step in getting your dog to slim down is to make an appointment with your veterinarian, because they can tell you what a healthy weight for your pup should be and offer advice on what you should be feeding them and how often.
One thing you can do even without your vet's help is stop giving your pup extra snacks and human table food, like letting them enjoy a chip while your binge watch Netflix together. You can give them smaller healthier treats like small pieces of cut up carrot or apple. Another step you can take is exactly that, making an effort to get more steps in when walking your dog.
PetHelpful also suggests running, which they say is the "best exercise to burn calories. Dogs love to run alongside their human , but even if you do not run, there are good alternatives. I have a moped that I drive along the beach and my dogs will chase that until they are exhausted. In order to lose weight rapidly, the dogs must run fast, about 5 miles an hour. In humans, that rate is good enough to lose about 600 calories an hour, so a 20-pound dog will lose about 75 calories an hour."
We all know weight loss takes time. Be consistent with feeding and exercise, and be patient with the process. As cute as your dog looks with the extra weight he can live a much longer, healthier life is he's at the correct weight for his age and breed.

People have all kinds of different fears and phobias. I have a ridiculous fear of heights. Even in a hotel with glass elevators and glass banisters looking down on the courtyard below. Obviously I’m not going to fall to my death. But my body will still refuse to function. That’s a phobia. There’s no convincing your brain not to react. No reasoning with it.
