Watching the Tropics.

Headline: We are watching the weekend and the tropics.

Our weather will stay on the warm side with highs in the mid 90s over the weekend. At least it's not that August heat as we slowly say goodbye to summer this weekend. Fall officially begins at 7:43 am on Sunday.

What we are watching: In the tropics we continue watching a developing storm. The chance for development of the storm has gone up. As expected the system will then move into the Gulf. Models keep telling us that it will become a hurricane next week. The also say the system will move toward Florida.

Extended Outlook: For us the warm temperatures will slowly ...very slowly...decrease by next week. We also pick up from light afternoon showers, although not everyone will see any rain.
