Denver weather: Warm and sunny end to the week

DENVER (KDVR) — Another seasonally warm and sunny day is in Denver’s weather forecast Friday, ahead of weekend rain and a big cooldown.

Weather tonight: Mainly clear

Thursday night will be mainly clear and mild. Low temperatures will fall to 50s, which is nearly 5 degrees above normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Sunny, warmer

Friday will be sunny, warm and a little breezy with wind gusts around 25 mph. Temperatures will climb to the upper 80s, which is 10 degrees above average.

Looking ahead: Rain and cooler temperatures this weekend

The next big change moves in this weekend. Saturday will start off dry, but clouds will increase during the afternoon ahead of the chance for widespread rain. Rain and the chance for a few thunderstorms will continue Saturday night and into Sunday before clearing Sunday afternoon and evening. Temperatures will be much cooler, reaching only 70 degrees on Saturday and struggling to even reach 60 degrees on Sunday.

Monday will start off dry and sunny as temperatures climb to the mid-70s ahead of rain showers late. Another chance for showers is in the forecast for Tuesday, alongside cooler temperatures in the upper 60s. Then, sunny weather returns Wednesday and Thursday with more seasonal temperatures starting off in the upper 40s and then climbing to highs in the mid-70s.
