    Fall starts this weekend and with it, loads of family fun. Think pumpkins, apples, hayrides and more. Keep up with what’s happening, plus get tips for your apple orchard visits, help setting boundaries for and with grandparents, and read all about the actor (and dad and pastor) who plays Simba in “The Lion King” at the Peace Center.     Things to do this weekend

    Disney’s “The Lion King” continues at the Peace Center through Sept. 29. Disney recommends the show for ages 6 and older. Tickets are available at the Peace Center box office and at peacecenter.org .

    Land of Oz in Beech Mountain, North Carolina hosts the annual Autumn at Oz Festival, celebrating the 85th anniversary of the classic MGM film, “The Wizard of Oz,” Sept. 20 – 22. Tickets and details are available at landofoznc.com .

    Arts in the Heart of Augusta Festival continues through Sept. 22. The event celebrates the cultural diversity of Augusta, Georgia through visual arts, music, dance, and culinary arts.     Dream Theater Presents: The Warehouse Theatre Shakespeare Workshop 11 a.m. – noon Sept. 21 at TCMU-Greenville. Little ones will join The Warehouse Theatre’s Inspector Bic Pentameter on an interactive mission to uncover the mystery of Shakespeare's words and worlds.     Celebrate Batman Day from 11a.m. – 1 p.m. Sept. 21 at Fiction Addiction. Register for this free event and each family in attendance will receive a free Batman comic, while supplies last.     An Autumn Celebration is 3 – 9 p.m. Sept. 21 and 22 at the Farm at Newell. The event includes hayrides, bonfires, games, a pumpkin patch and more.     Family Freude Fest: Lollipops and Sing with the Greenville Symphony 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Sept. 28 at Camperdown Plaza. Introducing Family Freude (It’s German for Joy!) Fest! A Lollipops concert featuring “Beethoven Lives Upstairs” by Barbara Nichol is at 10 a.m. Best for ages 3-8. Then at 11 a.m., sing with the Greenville Symphony. This event is for all ages. Be part of a community sing conducted by Music Director Lee Mills. Lend your voice and learn the "Ode to Joy" theme from Beethoven's 9 th and be accompanied by the powerful brass for the Greenville Symphony.
