SARTA Athlete of the Week Sept. 9-14 | Addison Hamm, Kyson Walker win the vote

Athletes from GlenOak and Perry high schools won the voting for the SARTA Athlete of the Week for Sept. 9-14 .

Addison Hamm of GlenOak is the girls winner and Kyson Walker of Perry wins for the boys. Hamm, who plays soccer, received 46.08% of the votes cast. Walker, a football player, received 58.57% of the votes cast.

A total of 12,493 votes were cast overall.

Addison Hamm, GlenOak soccer

Scored three goals in a 4-0 win over Perry, as GlenOak entered this week 8-0 this season, including 3-0 in the Federal League.

Kyson Walker, Perry football

Accounted for 153 yards of offense in Perry's 17-7 home win vs. Lake . His 46-yard TD run broke a 0-0 tie and was part of an 11-carry, 60-yard performance. Added six catches for 58 yards and completed a 35-yard halfback pass to Jayden Wilson to convert a huge third-and-11 late in the game.
