FARGO, ND - As Buc-ee’s continues to expand across the United States, North Dakota presents a few key locations where the popular travel center could logically set up shop.

Known for its massive stores, clean restrooms, and countless fuel pumps, Buc-ee’s would cater well to both locals and tourists traveling through the state’s vast stretches of highway.

One prime location is along Interstate 94 near Bismarck, North Dakota’s capital.

As a major east-west route, I-94 connects the state’s largest cities, Fargo and Bismarck, while also serving as a key travel corridor for cross-country travelers, according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation.

A Buc-ee’s in this area would cater to tourists, truckers, and residents alike.

Another potential site is along Interstate 29 near Fargo, the state’s largest city.

This route connects North Dakota to Minnesota and South Dakota, making it a high-traffic area for both interstate travel and local commerce, according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation.

Fargo’s booming growth and close proximity to the border make it an ideal spot for Buc-ee’s.

Lastly, a location near Grand Forks, along I-29, could also serve travelers heading north to Canada. I-29 sees thousands of vehicles travel through daily, according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation.

These strategic highways offer high visibility and easy access, making North Dakota a logical choice for Buc-ee’s expansion into the northern Midwest.
