    Police say 14-year-old girl who went missing in Detroit in July has been recovered

    DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit Police say a 14-year-old girl who disappeared after leaving home over the summer has been found.

    Police said Aniya Ogden, 14, left her home without permission Saturday, July 6, 2024, and was reported missing when she failed to come home. She was reported last seen on Robson in the area of Hubbell and Outer Drive on the city’s northwest side.

    On Sept 20, police provided an update stating that Ogden has been recovered.

    They didn't say where the teen was found, and no further information was released.

    IT NO BOTHERS ME!! when they say he or she.has been RECOVERED . Why not say they been found Alive? It usually is said "WE HAVE RECOVERED THE BODY OF SO-N-SO" ( NOT SO-SO FR FR )BUT MY HEART DROP EVERYTIME THEY SAY IT THAT WAY ....LIKE UN ALIVE MAKES ME ANGRY BC PEOPLE ARE I cannot understand a word that I'm trying to say but minimizing it or justify that I don't know really what I'm trying to say it's just like people don't care I'm alive like it's some sort of game but people don't know God is real and so my f****** devil

    Okay, we can pray, search, and worry about her life. The police can waste time searching for a person who ran away instead of looking for an actual missing person, but we can't get any info on where she was? I'm not asking for personal details, but let us know what's up. Where was she. About 20 girls were missing with this exact same story.
