A mattress is an investment, and a Saatva mattress is more major than most. Outside of sales season, you should expect to spend upwards of $2,000 to get a Saatva mattress in a Queen size. That's the price you have to pay for white glove delivery and top-notch eco-credentials. Still, when you take advantage of the best Saatva mattress deals, you can save hundreds on some of America's best-loved beds.

Before I started as H&G 's resident sleep writer, I was a price tracker. I spent eight hours a day crawling the sites of major mattress merchants, monitoring their prices. I learned how to shop the mattress sales to get the lowest prices on the best beds, all year round, so I'm perfectly placed to bring you today's best Saatva mattress deals.

In my current role, I lead a team of expert testers in the search to find the world's best mattress . We assess each mattress against the same criteria: pressure relief; thermoregulation; motion; isolation; and edge support. We also consider all the practical parts of buying a mattress, from the length of the sleep trial to the details of delivery, including the all-important price. As a sales hunter, I love a good bargain, but you can rest assured I'll never compromise quality for cost.

For sheer breadth of choice, Saatva is one of the best places to buy a mattress . You can shop everything from responsive latex models to luxury innersprings. Whichever bed you buy, you're protected by a lifetime mattress warranty , as well as a 365-night mattress sleep trial .

Over the years, we've tried and tested four Saatva mattresses. There's the Saatva Latex Hybrid Mattress, which appeals to hot sleepers as well as eco-conscious shoppers. Then, there's the Saatva Zenhaven Natural Latex Mattress, which boasts flippable firmness to suit every sleep style. Most recently, we tested the Saatva Contour5, a plush memory foam model with world-class motion isolation, but the Saatva Classic Mattress still comes out on top.

These are today's best Saatva mattress deals − I'll keep this page updated as and when prices drop.

    Saatva Classic Mattress

Sizes: Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King, Split King, California King, Split California King
    Type: Innerspring
Firmness: Plush Soft, Luxury Firm, Firm

    + Excellent edge support
    + Custom comfort
    - Motion transfer is a little lacking

Together, our team of expert testers has ranked and reviewed more than 30 mattresses, and we all agree that the Saatva Classic Mattress is the best, with consistently high scores for pressure relief, edge support, and thermoregulation. Available in Plush Soft, Luxury Firm, and Firm, you can shop for the surface tension that suits you: our expert tester, Jaclyn, found the best balance of comfort and support from the Luxury Firm mattress. The edge support is excellent, so it's comfortable to sit on the side of the bed to tie your shoes or nurse a baby. As a luxury innerspring , the Saatva Classic sleeps cooler than the Contour5, which is made from memory foam, but not quite as cool as the Latex Hybrid or the Zenhaven. Also, the motion isolation is a little lacking, but that's because of the springs: for minimal motion transfer, you want the Saatva Contour5.

    Saatva Contour5 Mattress

Sizes: Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King, California King, Split King
    Type: Memory foam
    Firmness: Medium-firm

    + Outstanding motion isolation
    + Cooling comfort
    - Very expensive for memory foam

The Contour5 is the newest addition to the Saatva line-up, intended as an improvement upon their Loom & Leaf, a gel memory foam mattress for hot sleepers and people in need of pressure relief. Our expert tester, Alex Frost, slept on the Saatva Contour5 Mattress this summer and she still raves about the motion isolation: 'If your partner tends to toss and turn in the night, then this memory foam mattress is a great option to prevent a sleep divorce.' The only problem is the price. Even with a discount of a few hundred dollars, a Queen-sized Saatva Contour5 Mattress will still set you back more than $2,000. 'Then again, you get what you pay for,' says Alex. 'The Saatva Contour5 Mattress far outpaces other memory foam models we've tested, especially when it comes to cooling and edge support.'

    Saatva Latex Hybrid Mattress

Sizes: Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King, California King, Split King, Split California King
    Type:
    Latex hybrid
    Firmness:
    Medium

    + Supple and springy
    + Highly breathable
    - Lack of edge support

The Saatva Latex Hybrid Mattress appears in multiple H&G mattress buying guides, and with good reason. For its breathable latex core and moisture-wicking wool, it's one of the best cooling mattresses . Filled with natural and recycled materials and made to order in the USA, it's up there with the best organic mattresses . For comfort and support, our expert tester Alex Frost could hardly fault it: 'I need something softer, but still supportive, to maintain the natural alignment of my spine, and the Saatva Latex Hybrid Mattress fits the bill.' There's just one problem: the lack of edge support. When Alex tried to sit on the side of the bed, she had to brace herself against the ground to keep from falling off. This would make it much harder for stomach sleepers to lie at the edge of the Saatva Latex Hybrid.

    + Flippable firmness
    + Breathable
    - Heavy

'I slept really, really well on the Saatva Zenhaven Natural Latex Mattress,' says expert tester Jill Waldbeiser. 'This mattress strikes a great balance between bounciness to help you into and out of bed and firm support to keep your spine straight. I'm a hot sleeper, and my night sweats are only getting worse as I approach the menopause, but I always woke up cool and dry on the Saatva Zenhaven Natural Latex Mattress.' This is a flippable mattress, with a Gentle Firm side for back and stomach sleepers and a Luxury Plush side for side sleepers and anyone in need of pressure relief. Designed to accommodate all sleep positions , it would make a great fit for your guest room. One word of warning before you buy: flipping this mattress is a two-person job.
