It will be the ninth one set up in the Hawkeye State.</p><p>This project has been publicly in the works since the end of 2023, <a href="https://www.thegazette.com/business/amazon-to-build-distribution-facility-in-cedar-falls/">according to reports.</a></p><p>Located in Cedar Falls, this distribution facility allegedly cost around $4 million and measures at approximately <b>53,230-square-feet.</b></p><p>Amazon has opened something called a "Last Mile" facility in Cedar Falls this month, <a href="https://www.kwwl.com/news/waterloo/amazon-opens-new-facility-in-cedar-falls-in-boost-to-local-economy/article_64af4f04-769f-11ef-b568-c7a049bc4231.html">according to reports.</a></p><p>A "Last Mile" facility is where the workers pack up Amazon orders put them in delivery trucks, and bring them to your door.</p><p>So, this new facility will make getting your packages in Eastern Iowa a faster process.</p><p>Amazon has also partnered with local groups and has even donated $5,000 to the Cedar Falls Schools Foundation, <a href="https://cbs2iowa.com/news/local/amazon-opens-first-facility-in-cedar-falls-aims-to-boost-local-economy">according to reports.</a></p><h2>Where Is the Facility Located?</h2><p>This recently opened Amazon facility is located on <b>6417 Innovation Drive</b> in Cedar Falls. It is not too far from the Cedar Valley Gymnastics Academy and the Target Distribution Center.</p><h2>How Many People Will They Employ?</h2><p>According to a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9xcyucirZk">recent report from KCRG</a>, this new facility has already created approximately forty new jobs.
