Officers said the victim, a 46-year-old woman, was sitting in a parked car in the area when two armed individuals approached and demanded she exit the vehicle.

The two individuals got in the car and attempted to flee the scene, but police said as they tried to make their escape, they crashed into a post.

Following the crash, both individuals felt the scene on foot.

According to police, a preliminary investigation suggests that one of the individuals involved may have fired a weapon as they fled.

Police did not provide a description of the two individuals but said they were both male.
