The Cleveland Browns will look to pick up their second-straight win of 2024 as they host the winless New York Giants on Sunday.

Throughout the week, the team has been monitoring the status of reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett, who missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday with a foot injury.

According to Garrett, while he plans to be on the field on Sunday, he is actually dealing with the same injury in both of his feet. He will continue to play through it at the moment, but also said that the ailment could require surgery in the future.

“Don’t feel 100 percent, but I feel good enough to go out there and make a difference, so I’m going to go out there and do that,” said Garrett. “Hopefully, in the next couple of weeks, I’ll continue to get better until it’s not something that’s bothering me as consistent as it is. So, just trying to stay on it and manage things as it is right now."

This is the second-straight week that Garrett has dealt with this injury, as he also played through the same issue in Week 2, when he played 68 percent of the Browns' defensive snaps. According to coach Kevin Stefanski, Garrett "looked like himself" in practice on Friday.

So far in 2024, Garrett has two sacks, two tackles-for-loss and two forced fumbles. So, even if he is not at his best, Garrett can certainly still make an impact on the field.
