    Dog chase leaves cat stranded in tree—rescuer offers help

    Don Gato the cat is resting and eating well tonight after becoming trapped in a tree three days ago

    VICTORIA, Texas - A local pet owner is breathing a sigh of relief after a business owner rescued her cat from a tree.

    Mary Elva said her cat, Don Gato, got stuck in a tree after being chased by a dog three days ago. Despite multiple calls to various agencies, no one was able to help.

    One of our Crossroads Today Facebook followers saw the story and offered assistance. The rescuer, who owns a tree service, knew exactly what to do.

    Don Gato was lured down, falling a short distance but was unharmed. Elva says Don Gato is doing fine and started eating immediately after the rescue.

    Worried pet owner seeks rescue for Don Gato stuck up tree for 3 days

    VICTORIA, Texas - Mary Elva is worried sick about her cat, Don Gato. Three days ago, a dog chased the cat up a tree, and he has been unable to get down. Elva has called multiple agencies, but no one has been able to help. The cat is stuck in a tree at 7866 SH 185 S.
