Pedestrian killed in Montgomery interstate collision early Friday

A pedestrian was killed in a car collision early Friday morning, Montgomery police say.

The MPD and fire medics responded to the single-vehicle collision at about 5:16 a.m. on I-85 North, where a pedestrian, Johnstone Namale Kuboka, was pronounced deceased on the scene. The driver of the vehicle, a 2013 Dodge Ram, sustained no injuries.

The collision is an ongoing investigation and no other information was immediately released by police.
