Lakers star LeBron James' son says he can beat dad 1 on 1, but not the son you’d think

LeBron James is already considered one of, if not the best basketball players to ever play the game. With a few years to add to his legacy, it will be tough for any player to ever outdo the former No. 1 overall pick.

Although it may be hard for any player to ever beat the records James has set, the 39-year-old instilled confidence in his children that they can do anything they put their minds to.

“You know, he (James) always tells me 'Just go out there and have fun. Stay aggressive. You know your shots will come to you, even if they’re not falling. Just keep shooting, you’re gonna make it,'” Bryce James said in a recent interview with the “NBA’s Future Now.”

“Just knowing, seeing how far he’s come from. Seeing that he’s come from a little city, it’s just, the grow-up, the build-up of where he’s come from is great.”

Later, the youngest James would be asked the million-dollar question “Who do you think would win 1-on-1 between you and your dad?”

To which the talented prospect replied with confidence “Me.”

James is quickly flying up the recruiting boards for the Class of 2025. The current four-star prospect already has offers from top programs such as Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Duquesne.

The 6-foot-4 guard will have big shoes to fill once he enters the league, but the confidence he’s shown early makes it clear he’s ready for the challenge.
