Golden Bears lose second straight to Elmira

VESTAL, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The Vestal Golden Bears were looking to get back in the win column, after falling away from home last week. The Elmira Express were in the exact same boat.

Vestal. Hosting Elmira, with the Express holding a double-digit lead in the second half.
The Bears. Trying to close the gap. Josh Kweller looking downfield but it gets picked off by Nolan Edwards. That’s going the other way.
A few plays later. Kayon Flint on the handoff and he makes everyone miss. He Outruns the defense and takes it in for 6.
Later on. Express again. Zach Conklin, looking to make magic, and a no-look pass with two guys in the area. Arius Bradbury makes the snag and adds to the lead.
Vestal trying to get something going. RPO to JT Gannon and he’ll take it all the way inside the 10.

It wouldn’t be enough. Express win, 43-21.
