Billie Joe Armstrong aims expletives at A’s owner John Fisher at Oracle Park show

( KRON ) — Green Day lead singer and Oakland native Billie Joe Armstrong had some strong words for Oakland A’s owner John Fisher during Green Day’s show at Oracle Park on Friday night.

Armstrong, a former A’s fan who now roots for the Oakland Ballers, used several expletives while criticizing Fisher, who is moving the A’s out of Oakland.

“We don’t take no s*** from people like John f***ing Fisher who sold out the Oakland A’s to Las f***ing Vegas,” he yelled to the San Francisco crowd.

Armstrong went on to express his distaste for Las Vegas, calling it “the worst s***hole in America.”

Earlier in the summer, Armstrong spray-painted over the A’s logo at the Toronto Blue Jays’ stadium. He attended A’s fans’ reverse boycott in 2023 and held up a “SELL” shirt while posing for a picture.
