Following a slow start against New Mexico in Week 3, Auburn football pulled away late for a big nonconference win to bounce back from a Week 2 loss to Cal.
The Tigers (2-1) will open SEC play against Arkansas on Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn. Auburn outscored the Lobos 28-6 in the second half to walk away with a 45-19 victory. Making his first career start, redshirt freshman quarterback Hank Brown finished 17-of-25 passing for 235 yards and four touchdowns while running back Jarquez Hunter added 20 rushes for 152 yards and a score.

The Razorbacks suffered a heartbreaking 39-31 double overtime loss to Oklahoma State on the road in Week 2; Arkansas scraped by with a 37-27 home victory over UAB last week. Running back Ja'Quinden Jackson rushed for his third straight 100-yard performance, with 147 yards and a touchdown in the win.
Auburn leads the all-time series with Arkansas 20-12-1, including a 48-10 victory in Fayetteville last season on Nov. 11, 2023. The Razorbacks won their previous matchup in Auburn 41-27 on Oct. 16, 2021.
