It was a bloody overnight in the Big Apple, with two people killed and six injured in three separate acts of violence across the city.
A harrowing scene unfolded in Brooklyn, when gunfire erupted on a Greenpoint street early Saturday morning, police said.
Shots rang out on Stewart Avenue and Cherry Street around 1:50 a.m., a department spokesman said.
Cops are still sorting out the mayhem and searching for two gunmen, authorities said.
The shooting took place on Stewart Avenue and Cherry Street, a desolate block that runs parallel to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway, around 1:50 a.m., a department spokesman said.
The bloody scorecard: Three 18-year-old men walked into Wyckoff Hospital; one was shot in the left ankle, another was shot in the face — both were in stable condition — and the third was critically wounded in the chest, police said.
All three arrived without help from EMS, authorities said.
Cops subsequently learned that a 33-year-old man also walked into Woodhull Hospital after being shot in the right ankle and two wounded 20-year-old men checked into Jamaica Hospital — one shot in the back, the other in the left leg, police said.
All were listed in stable condition, the NYPD said.
There were no arrests and cops said they have little to go on in the mass shooting. “We’re looking for two males,” the NYPD spokesman said. “That’s it. That’s all we have.”
“There’s no motive yet and the investigation is continuing,” an NYPD spokesman said.
Police recovered a kitchen knife, believed to be the murder weapon, at the crime scene.
Ming Zhong, 62, who runs a nail salon in Brooklyn and lives around the corner on 25th Avenue, said he’s known the couple for 20 years. The victim was an electrician and “very kind” and “the lady say nothing,” she said.
Another neighbor told Zhong the couple had a special needs son.
Lai Chun Ho’s arraignment was pending Saturday.
Separately, in the Bronx, a man was fatally shot in the stomach in front of 1186 Evergreen Ave. shortly before 3:30 a.m., cops said.
EMS brought the unidentified victim, whose age was not immediately available, to Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Yeah I heard that happening many years ago as well! Worse back in the 70’s and 80’s! It was a common occurrence!

No, no, no... This can't be, there are very strict firearm laws in NYC and democrats think these laws stops evil people from using firearm. Must either be click bait or fake news.
