    CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Fall is here and pumpkins are in seasons. Whether you like to eat, carve, or just have pumpkins on your front porch, here’s where you can go pumpkin picking around the Queen City.

    Hodges Farm Pumpkins Patch

    • 3780 Rocky River Road in east Charlotte
    • Sept. 28 – Oct. 31 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (gates close at 5:30 p.m.)
    • No entry fee
    • No pets
    • $5 parking/car on Saturdays and Sundays
    • Pumpkins of all sizes, picnic areas, photo opportunities, barn animals

    Hunter Farm

    • 13624 Providence Road in Weddington
    • Closed on Mondays; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. the other six days of the week
    • There are also wagon rides, a market barn and special events on some Fridays

    • Monday, Sept. 30, – Oct. 31; Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

    • Pumpkin price range from $1-$40
