The FOX Sports team of Joel Klatt and Gus Johnson called the Ohio State vs. Marshall game on Saturday in Columbus, Ohio, a key early season matchup for Coach Ryan Day's team.

The Buckeyes struggled a bit early with the Thundering Herd before seizing a 28-14 halftime lead over their visitors from West Virginia.

During the telecast, Klatt and Johnson revealed a wholesome pre-game comment from Ole Miss transfer and current Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins that left Johnson "speechless."

Judkins told Johnson in the pregame that he went to Ohio State in hopes of winning a national championship. He said he was "sold" on Ohio State shortly after a visit.

He also said pre-game that he has never had someone of Gus Johnson's status call one of his games before, a comment that Klatt said left the veteran announcer Johnson "speechless" because of its kind-hearted nature.

Judkins made Johnson proud with a 114-yard first half that included a breath-taking 86-yard touchdown run that was punctuated with a Jayden Fielding extra point to make the score 21-7 in favor of the hometown team.
