(MA) Meet Cooper, an adorable and very resilient little Shih Tzu who is searching for love. This senior pup came into the care of Sweet Paws Rescue for undisclosed reasons and requires an adopter who can fully give her the love and attention she needs. Due to complications from IVDD, Cooper faces challenges with paralysis and will require some extra care. But with a face that cute and a heart made of gold, anyone would be lucky to have the privilege of providing said extra care.

More Information Cooper

Cooper is a senior Shih Tzu mix pup who is 9 years and 5 months old. He is a small boy who weighs approximately 12 pounds. Based on his pictures, Cooper has a medium coat length which is white, cream, black, and brown in color. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.

According to Sweet Paws Rescue, Cooper has a cute demeanor, affectionate nature, and a spirit that shines bright. He responds eagerly to his name and loves the company of all people. He also is good with dogs, cats, and children. Despite his love of ALL humans, Sweet Paws Rescue hopes to match him with an adult-only home, that can give him the attention he needs.

In addition to an adult-only home, Cooper would do best in a home with few or no stairs and a single-floor living space where he can move independently. He uses special equipment to help with his mobility which does best on a flat surface. Due to his paralysis issues, Cooper will also require a little extra daily care including baths and help with bladder expression. It should also be noted that he is absolutely worth the extra effort!
