    2 seriously hurt in Uptown shooting: Medic

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Two people have life-threatening injuries after a shooting in Uptown.

    The incident occurred near the 1700 block of W. Trade Street around 4:10 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

    Both patients, who CMPD later confirmed were two men ages 16 and 20, were transported to the hospital.

    No word yet from police on what led up to the shooting or if anyone is facing charges.

    A 9mm Glock was seized on scene, according to the police report.

    Once again on the west side of Charlotte. Vote for Addul Ali, this is Alma Adams congressional district and she’s done absolutely nothing of the homicides that are predominantly black in Charlotte the entire time she’s been in office. Black students are still at the bottom of education and home ownership is the lowest. Once again vote for Addul Ali, check him out people, Charlotte is over due for change, he’s a good man
