OTHELLO, Wash. - The Adams County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a shooting that left two teens in the hospital Friday night.

Authorities said a 17-year-old boy was dropped off at the Othello Community Hospital around 11:30 p.m., suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. While authorities started their investigation, a 14-year-old boy also arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound to his hand and arm.

Authorities said the teens reported they had been in the area of Taylor Road and Spur Road. They said a vehicle pulled up and people inside the car began "flashing gang signs" and yelled. The teens then claimed around 10 shots were fired. Investigators went to the area and said they found evidence at the scene. They did not release what that evidence was. Descriptions of the vehicle or the people in the car have not been released.

If anyone has any information about the shooting, please call the Adam's County Sheriff's Office at 509-659-1122.
