School Committee Vice-Chair Tony Rodrigues at the start of the meeting made a motion to remove that item from the meeting agenda.

Looking for unique way to unwind? Middleboro ax-throwing bar thinks it has just the thing

For Faris Ojjeh, downtown Middleboro was the "perfect location" for his new ax-throwing bar, Hatchet in Hand. "I grew up in Raynham," he said. "It's an area that I'm familiar with, and a community that I know, a community where I want to have something fun for people to go out and do." And since the bar's opening in July, Ojjeh and his customers have been hitting a lot of bullseyes. There "hasn't been one person who hasn't been able to get the ax in the target," he said of his customers. "If you get a bullseye you got to ring a bell, and when people get it... they get so excited and high-five each other."
