A new addition to The Holland Sentinel: Student of the Week

The Holland Sentinel is excited to share the launch of a new weekly poll, inviting you to choose a worthy local high schooler for the title of Student of the Week.

The poll, to be posted online each Monday during the school year (excluding breaks), will highlight some of the area's best and brightest, and give our readers an opportunity to engage with the news. This poll is entirely separate from The Sentinel's Athlete of the Week.

Voting will begin at 4 a.m. Mondays and conclude at 11:59 p.m. Wednesdays. We'll announce the winner online each week on Fridays, and in print on Sundays.

Nominations are made weekly by the principals of each school. Principals looking to submit a name for consideration should email newsroom@hollandsentinel.com . Questions? You can email us at the same place.
