    DOYLESTOWN, PA—Here's a look at road closings and slowdowns in the Doylestown area for the week of Sept. 22, 2024.

    In Bedminster Township, Route 313/South Dublin Pike will have a lane closure between High Street and Chelfield Road for utility pole replacements from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Sept. 27, 2024.

    In Bedminster and Tinicum townships, Dark Hollow Road between Route 32/River Road and Route 413/Durham Road will be closed 24/7 through Oct. 4, 2024. Motorists will be directed to use Route 413/Durham Road, Point Pleasant Pike and Route 32/River Road.

    In Hilltown Township, Callowhill Road between Perkasie Road and West Main Street will have a full closure with a detour for a bridge replacement. The work is scheduled to go through Nov. 4, 2024.

    In Lower Makefield and Newtown townships, Lindenhurst Road between Route 332/Newtown Bypass and Route 523/Washington Crossing Boulevard will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Sept. 30, 2024. Motorists will be directed to use Route 332/Newtown Bypass, Durham Road and Route 532/Washington Crossing Boulevard.

    In Lower Makefield Township, Big Oak Road between West Trenton Avenue and Pine Grove Road will have a weekday lane closure for HFT application from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through mid-October 2024.

    In Lower Makefield, Upper Makefield and Newtown townships, Route 532/Washington Crossing Road/Durham Road between Route 32/River Road and Route 413/Newtown Bypass/Swamp Road will have temporary lane restrictions for milling and paving from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Nov. 1, 2024.

    NEW THIS WEEK: In Lower Southampton Township, Route 532/Bustleton Pike between Woodland Road and Route 132/Street Road will have lane closures for utility installation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Dec. 31, 2024.

    In Middletown Township, Bridgetown Pike between Park Road and Woodbourne Road will have a lane closure for utility pole work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Sept. 26, 2024.

    In Middletown Township, Langhorne Yardley Road between Bridgetown Pike and Woodbourne Road will have a single-lane closure for utility maintenance from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Dec. 1, 2024.

    In Middletown Township, Langhorne Yardley Road between Strawberry Lane and Erica Drive will have a lane closure for utility pole work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Sept. 26, 2024.

    NEW THIS WEEK: In Middletown Township, Route 413/Langhorne Newtown Road between Farm Drive and Tollgate Road will have a lane closure for utility work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled for Sept. 23-24, 2024.

    In Middletown Township, U.S. 1 Business/Old Lincoln Highway between Woodbourne Road and South Buckstown Road will have a partial lane restriction for utility maintenance from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Oct. 23, 2024.

    In Middletown Township, Woodbourne Road between Maple Point Middle School and Kilburn Road will have a lane closure for utility pole work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Oct. 3, 2024.

    In Middletown Township, Woodbourne Road between Trenton Road and U.S. 1 Business/Lincoln Highway will have a partial lane restriction from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Oct. 23, 2024.

    In Montgomery Township, the area around the five-point intersection at Route 309/Bethlehem Pike, Route 463/Horsham Road/Cowpath Road and Business U.S. 202/Doylestown Road will have alternating lane closures and temporary traffic patterns for utility work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is part of a long-term project that will make major intersection improvements. More information on the project is on the PennDOT website.

    In New Britain Township, Route 152/North Limekiln Pike between Lindenfield Parkway and Newville Road will have a lane shift for utility work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Oct. 30, 2024.

    In Northampton and Newtown townships, Route 332/Newtown Richboro Road between West Hanover Street and Rock Way will have a weekday lane closure for a pipe replacement from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Oct. 4, 2024.

    In Plumstead Township, Meetinghouse Road between Hancock Lane and Stump Road will have road closures for road repairs. Once the work reaches Stump Road, it will continue east on Stump Road and end near the Plumstead Township offices. The work is scheduled to start Sept. 23, 2024, and last about one week.

    In Plumstead Township, Stump Road between Worthington Road and Silo Hill Road will have flagging for HFST application from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Nov. 30, 2024.

    In Plumstead Township, Wismer Road between Ferry Road and Carversville Road will have a full closure with a detour for a culvert replacement. The work is scheduled to go from Sept. 30, 2024, through Feb. 28, 2025.

    NEW THIS WEEK: In Solebury Township, Aquetong Road between Carversville Road and Greenhill Road will be closed for a pipe replacement from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to take place from Sept. 24-27, 2024. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Carversville Road, Route 413/Durham Road, Route 263/York Road/Upper York Road and Greenhill Road.

    NEW THIS WEEK: In Solebury Township, Mechanicsville Road between Aquetong Road and Greenhill Road will be closed for a pipe replacement from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled for Sept. 25, 2024. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Aquetong Road and Greenhill Road.

    In Solebury Township, the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge will be closed to traffic from New Hope to New Jersey for several months. The closure will allow for repairs to be made. More information is on the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission website.

    In Upper Makefield Township, Lurgan Road between Eagle Road and Street Road will be closed 24/7 to replace a bridge over a branch of the Pidcock Creek. The work is scheduled to go through late November 2024. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 32/River Road, Route 232/Windy Bush Road and Street Road.

    In Upper Makefield Township, Washington Memorial Boulevard between Route 32/River Road and the New Jersey state line will have temporary lane restrictions for milling and paving from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Sept. 26, 2024.

    In Upper Makefield and Wrightstown townships, Wrightstown Road between Route 413/Durham Road and Route 532/Washington Crossing Road will have a full closure with detour from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Sept. 27, 2024.

    NEW THIS WEEK: In Upper Makefield, Lower Makefield and Newtown townships, Route 532/Washington Crossing Road/Durham Road between Route 32/River Road and Route 413/Newtown Bypass/Swamp Road will have temporary lane restrictions with flagging for milling and paving from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Nov. 1, 2024.

    In Warminster Township, County Line Road between Route 332/Jacksonville Road and Madison Avenue will have a weekday lane closure for stormwater replacement from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Sept. 27, 2024.

    NEW THIS WEEK: In Yardley Borough, Route 332/Afton Avenue between Lookover Lane and Sandy Run Road will have a lane closure for a utility installation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled for Sept. 26, 2024.
