Red Raiders Announce Sellout for Week 5 vs. Cincinnati Bearcats

The Texas Tech Red Raiders are still enjoying their 30-22 win over Arizona State on Saturday before preparing for Week 5's matchup with the Cincinnati Bearcats.

The Red Raiders have announced a sellout of the Sept. 28 home game at Jones AT&T Stadium.

The contest against the Bearcats will be the final of a three-game homestand for Texas Tech which started with the 66-21 win over North Texas.

In addition to the Cincinnati game, the Red Raiders had one sellout this season against Abilene Christian in the season opener, and have another one against Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes on Nov. 9.

The university is encouraging fans to purchase tickets at SeatGeek, the official secondary ticket provider of Texas Tech Athletics for the first visit for the Bearcats as members of the newly expanded Big 12.

The Red Raiders are coming off a 30-22 win over another new Big 12 member, the Arizona State Sun Devils on Saturday. It was a game that saw the Texas Tech program win its 600th game and running back Tahj Brooks take over fifth place on the Red Raiders' all-time career rushing list.

Texas Tech sits at 3-1 after four contests and hopes to carry some momentum into the Cincinnati game and beyond.
