1 dead after pedestrian-involved crash on Charlotte Pike

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Officers responded to the scene of a crash Saturday night involving a 60-year-old man who had been struck by a vehicle in West Nashville.

The incident occurred on Charlotte Pike near 47th Avenue North on Saturday, Sept. 21.

The man was reportedly crossing the street when he was hit by a Volkswagen Tiguan, reports said.

The driver of the SUV remained at the scene until officers arrived.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No additional information is available at this time.
