Is this the best Hamburger in Illinos?

I have heard people talk about this next location stating that it is the best burger in the suburbs. I was lucky enough to come on a fairly decent day when the weather was still somewhat warm.

The next stop is Brandt’s in Palatine.

As I stated before, it was still nice out, so I sat on their large outdoor patio right in front of the restaurant. I arrived around 1 PM and already it was quite busy. Most of the clientele looks like workers on their lunch break or retirees.

The service was quick and friendly. I asked what was their favorite hamburger because the menu was quite extensive with what they offered.

The waitress was sweet but told me that she liked pretty much everything on the menu, but wasn’t much help.

I decided to go with what other reviewers said were their favorites. I started with cheese curds and then for my main dish, I ordered a Patty melt.

The cheese curds came out first. They were not like any other cheese curd I’ve ever had. They were very cheesy. They had a good crunch to them, very delicious. How can you go wrong with cheese curds?

Next, my patty melt came out. With my first bite, I could tell that the meat was high-quality. The bread did not hold up very well to the juices of the hamburger. It was a little bit soggy but still delicious. The fries were home-cut and tasted fantastic.

It was nice to sit on the patio and enjoy the weather while I was still here. The patty melt was absolutely fantastic. Do I think it is the best in Illinois or one of the best? I do think it is one of the best. It is definitely something that you need to check out.
