Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam Attacks Billy, Audra Pushes Sally Into An Abbott Hookup

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, September 23, tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is pressing Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) about upsetting Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

Soaps Spoilers reports that Adam will argue Billy lost his right to protect Chelsea when he left her. Billy will try to grab Adam, who punches him. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will convince Billy to leave the fight.

Phyllis gives Billy ice at the office for his lip, suggesting his reaction proves he still cares for Chelsea. She thinks Billy wants to forgive Chelsea's cheating but is too stubborn. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Billy insists Chelsea hurt him, and he won't get over it soon.

Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will get advice from Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) about trusting her instincts as a mother. She'll warn Billy and seek a peaceful solution to protect the kids.

Victoria will visit Billy's office and learn about Phyllis' new COO role. Alone with Billy, Victoria will share her worries about Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) targeting him. She suggests letting Victor buy him out at Chancellor so Billy can start a new Abbott business.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Billy will reject this, wondering if Victoria is working with Victor to undermine him.

She'll insist she's protecting their children, not wanting Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) or Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) to see their grandfather destroy their father or feel forced to choose sides.

Billy will think Victoria's wrong to assume he'll fail against Victor, ending their talk without progress.

Phyllis will return and hear about the buyout offer. Billy will say he won't give in to Victor and plans to fight back, which is precisely what Phyllis wants to hear.

In the park, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) criticizes Adam for betraying Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), who worries she might never love again.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Audra will suggest not caring can be good and praise revenge. Sally will argue that seeking revenge is just another way of caring, though she'll claim she doesn't want to go after Adam and Chelsea for revenge.

Despite this, Audra will show interest when she hears about Sally and Billy's growing connection. While Audra might suggest a revenge fling, Sally firmly rejects the idea.

At Crimson Lights, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) notices Chelsea's distress and offers support. Chelsea confesses to ending things with Billy and taking full responsibility.

After Chelsea explains how Billy shouldered the blame when talking to Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), Summer suggests their relationship might not be over for good.

When Adam shows up, Summer suspects he might have influenced Chelsea's breakup with Billy but won't press for details. Adam asks to speak with Chelsea alone. He apologizes for making her uneasy earlier and tries to explain, but Chelsea shuts him down and leaves abruptly.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea might be fighting her true feelings for Adam. Social media users think Adam and Chelsea will eventually reunite.
