Warren Township, Pa. — A search warrant conducted on a man's property in Bradford County revealed stolen solar panels and batteries, according to police.

Gabriel Moran, 31, of Warren Center, Pa., is facing charges of receiving stolen property following the discovery of solar panels and batteries found on his property on the 2000 block of Warren Center Road on Sept. 9.

"The solar panels were seized and returned to Repsol Energy," a PSP Towanda corporal wrote in a public information release. The company reported them stolen in April of 2024.

Recovered items included a 12-volt solar battery valued at $250 and a Kyocera solar panel, valued at $350, police said.

It's not the first time police have searched Moran's property. Troopers recently filed felony charges after they were called to his home following a fight with his fight. Moran fled the home, leaving his four children behind. The home and children were filthy and in addition to assault charges for the fight, police also charged Moran with endangering his children.

During the recent search, police recovered seven solar panels and four batteries they believe may be stolen from other gas pads in the area.

PSP Towanda said they don't currently have active investigations involving additional solar panels, and are asking anyone with information regarding the theft, or missing solar panels and batteries to call Corporal Robert Borkowski with PSP Towanda.
