CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Cranston’s police department held their third annual fall festival on Sunday.

The event took place at Mulligan’s Island and families enjoyed food trucks, craft vendors and even K-9 demonstrations.

“We started off small and each year we seem to get bigger and better,” Capt. Justin Dutra said “And it’s a great collaboration with the food trucks, with the vendors and our community partners and now we’re bringing in some big headline bands.”

Part of the money raised from the festival goes to CPDCares , which helps Cranston families in need.
