    Couple found dead in suspected Inland Empire murder-suicide

    A man and a woman were found dead in an Inland Empire home early Sunday morning, and police are investigating the deaths as a murder-suicide.

    According to the San Bernardino Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting at a home in the city’s 1600 block of East Hardt Street at about 1:28 a.m. Sunday.

    Officers found the bodies of a man and woman upon arrival.

    Police said the pair lived together and was involved in a romantic relationship. Their identities weren’t yet released by authorities as of Sunday afternoon.

    The case, which was given to SBPD’s homicide unit, is being investigated as a murder-suicide. Authorities didn’t disclose which of the individuals allegedly killed the other before dying by suicide.
