Dak Prescott Sends Heated Message to Cowboys Fans After Ravens Loss

Dallas Cowboys fans were fuming — and understandably so — after the team’s 28-25 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday at AT&T Stadium.

After nearly pulling off an 22-point come-from-behind win in the fourth quarter, Dallas’ comeback bid — which included recovering an onside kick and scoring three straight touchdowns in the fourth quarter — fell just short, dropping the team’s record to 1-2.

No one in the Cowboys locker room was in a talking mood following the game, particularly quarterback Dak Prescott, who fired off a heated remark toward a camera on his somber walk to the showers, likely directed at the team’s disappointed fan base.

“Jump off if you want,” Prescott remarked. “Please, please.”

Though Prescott’s comments were likely geared toward some of the team’s fair-weather fans and not most of the Cowboys’ die-hard fans, his point is well-taken.

With the Philadelphia Eagles’ win on Sunday, Dallas is tied with the New York Giants for last place in the NFC East. But with 15 more games left to play, it’s way too early to throw in the towel on the Cowboys’ season.

Prescott himself had a strong showing against Baltimore. He threw for 379 yards and three total touchdowns (two passing, one rushing), and he nearly pulled off his 15th career fourth-quarter comeback.

While there was plenty of blame to go around for Sunday’s loss, Prescott seemed to be absolved of most of it in the eyes of Cowboys fans on social media. Head coach Mike McCarthy and owner/general manager Jerry Jones took the brunt of most of the backlash for failing to put a better supporting cast around their QB.
