Maxx Crosby Makes Bold Claim Regarding Teammates

The Las Vegas Raiders had one of their most embarrassing losses in recent memory on Sunday. Considering some of the awful performances this team has put out in recent years, that's really saying something.

The Raiders were dominated by the Carolina Panthers , and ended up losing 36-22. Although the score shows a 14-point loss, the game really never felt that close.

In his postgame interview, Raiders' star edge rusher Maxx Crosby had some bold words for his teammates:

Crosby had a relatively quiet game himself. He recorded three tackles, and didn't find himself in the backfield very often. It's not really his fault though, as Crosby was playing through an ankle injury he suffered in Week 2, and it even limited him in practice this week .

With him not feeling his best, the Raiders' pass rush struggled massively. Las Vegas couldn't get in the backfield at all, and as a result, Carolina's quarterback Andy Dalton carved the defense up.

This performance was disappointing in a lot of ways. After getting blown out in two straight games to start the season, nobody thought the Panthers had a shot to win this game.

For the Raiders to get blown out by a team like that in their home opener was incredibly disappointing. It's hard to blame Crosby for feeling like some of his teammates might not have given this game all the effort they could have.

Crosby echoes feelings of frustration that are felt throughout raider nation. It's another embarrassing loss, and once again, the Raiders have some soul searching to do.
