    Glendale police ask public’s help finding 74-year-old woman with dementia

    Police are asking for the public’s help in searching for Hortencia Trevino, 74, who was last seen in Glendale on Sunday afternoon.

    Trevino, who suffers from dementia, was last seen at 12:57 p.m. on the second floor of Macy’s at the Glendale Galleria.

    Authorities with the Glendale Police Department said she was walking eastbound in the mall toward Bloomingdales before she went missing.

    Trevino is 5 feet 3 inches tall, and about 120 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes, and was wearing a black and white horizontal striped sweater vest and black pants.

    The department said she will respond to her name and appears coherent and self-reliant.

    If anyone has information that can assist in helping safely locate Trevino, they are encouraged to call 911 or contact the police.
