    Rain chances in forecast. Check weather for Monday night Bengals-Commanders game

    Are you heading to The Banks on Monday to watch the Cincinnati Bengals take on the Washington Commanders ? Rain is entering the forecast Monday night but the chance of precipitation is low at game time. The temperature is expected to peak in the mid-80s and be in the 70s at game time.

    According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington , there is a chance of rain on Monday as a cold front slowly presses south through the region. However, much of the coverage area will likely remain dry. Highs will range from the mid-70s in the northwest to the mid-80s in the south.

    Showers and thunderstorms will move into the Ohio Valley region late Monday night into Tuesday. The main threat will be damaging winds.

    Scattered showers and thunderstorms will taper off Tuesday night. A low probability of precipitation will remain in the forecast through Thursday.

    Temperatures this week will be fairly seasonable with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

    Monday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.

    Monday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low of around 66. Calm wind. The chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

    Tuesday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 81. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 8 mph in the morning. The chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three-quarters of an inch possible.

    Tuesday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low of around 63. South wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening. The chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

    Wednesday: A slight chance of showers after 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. Light southwest wind. The chance of precipitation is 20%.

    Wednesday night: A slight chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low of around 63. The chance of precipitation is 20%.
