YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Youngstown Police are investigating after a crash on the city’s West Side.

It happened just before 10 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Wesley and Oakwood Avenues.

Our crew on scene says it appears one of the cars hit a house in that neighborhood.

Our crews also said they saw one person being loaded into an ambulance.

A police report today said a car driven by Jayla Brown, 27, of Pittsburgh, was driving north on Wesley Avenue when it collided with another car that was going east on Oakwood Avenue, causing it to go off the road and hit the house.

Brown was issued a citation for running a stop sign.
