Motorcyclist dies after SD collision with semi-truck

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A crash between a semi-truck and a motorcycle resulted in one death Sunday.

The Highway Patrol said in a press release that a 39-year-old man is dead early Sunday morning after colliding with a semi-truck on Interstate 29 in Sioux Falls.

Preliminary crash information states that the driver of a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia was headed south on Interstate 29, slowing down to take the 26th Street exit. The driver of a 2013 Victory Cross Country motorcycle was headed the same direction and collided with the backside of the semi-truck.

The driver and passenger in the semi-truck were not injured. The motorcyclist died of his injuries.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

this was posted two day ago, where is the update??? still no names and no more details, is it road conditions caused and crash? did the motorcyclist was speeding up or the semi suddenly slow down speed caused the crash whom is error? where are updates/details? your news always half news and vague, be like other cities and stats news give details , be professional when you post or present news to public, when this city news will wake up from sloth move presentations
