Jerry the missing Taunton pig is 'food motivated,' owner says

TAUNTON —Taunton Resident Angela Breen is looking for help finding her pig, Jerry .

"He's food motivated [and] loves to snack," she said. "He's very skittish."

Jerry came to Taunton by way of Indiana and was last seen "in the area of Viking Street and Middleboro Avenue," Breen said.

"He is skittish to most unknown humans. I think that's the hard part of trying to catch him right now," she added. "Any help from the community would be great."

How did Jerry get lost?

Jerry escaped as Breen was transporting him to his new home at Deep Pond Farm and Stables . He previously lived in Breen's home.

It's "a more spacious area to do what pigs do," she explained. "We were transporting him to his new stable... and he just got down and took off into the woods."

Jerry isn't the only animal who wasn't where he was supposed to be this weekend. Eight bulls escaped a rodeo in North Attleboro.
