When in California, one must add shopping to the itinerary, and fortunately, thrifters will find no shortage of thrift stores in Laguna Beach.

Thrift stores in Laguna Beach run the gamut from the locally owned mom-and-pop vintage to the charity-driven chain. The area has a nice blend of both where shoppers can find just about anything, including discounted luxury goods.

Here are nine of the best thrift stores in Laguna Beach, based on Google and Yelp reviews. Happy shopping! (If you’re just visiting Cali, here are 20 must-see places .)

Assistance League Of Laguna Beach — 526 Glenneyre St.

The Assistance League of Laguna Beach is a classic discount thrift store with a wide range of merchandise and a kid-friendly shopping setup. Alongside men’s and women’s clothing, you’ll find children’s clothing, books, toys, jewelry, seasonal goods, home and kitchenware, and linens. Proceeds go toward the Assistance League’s philanthropic programs for students, children, seniors, and those experiencing housing instability.

    Miles4Autism — 31678 Coast Hwy., Suite A

Miles4Autism raises money to fund no-cost therapy efforts and clinics for individuals with autism. This thrift store has a mix of donated items, furniture, home decor, and some designer goods. One Yelper said she found some great stylish clothes, including some cashmere sweaters! She did note, however, that there are no dressing rooms (as of January 2024).

Treasures Of Laguna — 355 Broadway St.

Treasures of Laguna offers second-hand clothing, vintage items, jewelry, and art — all for a good cause. Proceeds from this location go toward services for homeless individuals, single parents, and organizations that serve people dealing with addiction and seeking out mental illness care. Check out their Instagram to see what kind of deals and sales they’re offering.

FAM Resale Boutique — 30232 Crown Valley Pkwy.

The FAM Resale Boutique has an array of clothing, furniture, accessories, and home décor for decent prices. The Family Assistance Ministries (FAM) offers services to people in need, including assisted housing options, food and hygiene items, life counseling, and help with income taxes. Your purchases will go toward a great cause. You’ll find men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, shoes, housewares, and seasonal goods.

    Laguna Exchange — 995 S Coast Hwy.

Laguna Exchange is a sister shop to Treasures of Laguna and offers more curated vintage and thrift items. Proceeds go to the same charitable organizations that help with homelessness, addiction, and mental health resources. Laguna Exchange carries men’s and women’s clothing and buys clothing similarly to other consignment chains like Buffalo Exchange. They also sell handmade and local jewelry alongside their curated thrift options.

Cherry Moon Shop — 652 S Coast Hwy.

    Twig — 1045 S Coast Hwy.

Twig sells a mixture of vintage clothing with upcycled pieces as well as local artists’ work. You’ll also find some Laguna Beach merchandise and other gifts and knick-knacks worth checking out. Twig is one of the pricier options for thrifting in Laguna Beach since not all of their inventory is consignment. They also have an online store.

    Havoc Fashion — 303 Broadway St. #112

Havoc Fashion is a luxury consignment store offering designer fashions and accessories at a discount. With concierge stylists at your leisure, Havoc Fashion is not cheap but still a great place to find some high-end labels at discounted prices. You’ll find the likes of Prada, Dior, Gucci, Fendi, and Balenciaga here, so prepare to spend. (Here are some tips on how to spot fake designer goods .)
