Young Texas Longhorn Fan Goes Viral Stealing A Sip Of Mom’s Beer During The Game

Parenting comes with a handful of challenges: managing tantrums, instilling good morals and values, teaching your children to be polite, helping with homework so they can be successful, and hoping they eventually find love. While those hit some pillars every parent hopes to instill in their children; some parents will encounter a few niche situations that are not universal parenting experiences. There's a reason they say parenting doesn't come with a rule book, and even if it did, I am sure you would not find a chapter on how to navigate this incident. We've all seen videos of preteens or teenagers grabbing their parents' adult beverages for a quick sip, thinking no one is watching. But when your young child is sitting right next to you taking swigs of beer, and you don't notice, it's not a great look. But, hey, no one is perfect. During the Texas game over the weekend, a little girl grabbed a koozied can next to her mom and started sipping it. I can't blame her. It was a hot one on Saturday in Austin, Texas. Given that the child appears relatively young, one could only assume that she thought it was water and was attempting to quench her thirst. It's hard to reprimand a kid who doesn't even know what they are grabbing. However, the parent sitting next to the child is getting some heat on social media for not noticing the beer can in her child's hands. Given this little girl's number of sips, I bet the mom needed new beer by the time she realized her daughter was holding the can. I'm sure these parents are not irresponsible, and they were dialed in on some other matter, as the mother was seen bent over looking for something in a bag. While we do not condone kids drinking here at Whiskey Riff, you have to give this social media user props for finding humor in the situation and putting the video to J-Kwon's "Tipsy." Given how the Texas Longhorns beat up on the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks, this young girl was kicking off the post-game celebration early. The social media user who uploaded the video noted in the comments section that they told the mother right after filming the short bit and she promptly took the can away from her little girl.
