Will Ferrell's Teen Son Towers Over Him in Rare Red Carpet Family Photos

Will Ferrell's sons are growing up...and up.

The 57-year-old actor and comedian made a rare red-carpet appearance with his wife, Viveca Paulin , and sons, Magnus , 20, and Mattias , 17, at the premiere of his new documentary, Will & Harper . And it was clear the boys weren't little kids anymore.

Posing for pics, Mattias in particular towered over the rest of his family.

While dad Will dressed formally for the occasion in a navy suit with a matching tie and pocket square, his sons wore more casual attire, with Mattias in a navy button-down shirt and Magnus in a white shirt with an open black jacket. Will and Viveca also share a third son, Axel , 14, who didn't attend (the family brought along an unidentified young male guest).

Mattias and Magnus supported their dad in more ways than one at the screening. While Will spoke with reporters, the boys noticed that the tails on his suit jacket were still stitched together and did their best to separate them, finally securing a pair of scissors to make the alterations in a video shared to TikTok by The Hollywood Reporter .

As People reported, Will & Harper follows Will and his longtime pal and former Saturday Night Live writer Harper Steele on a road trip from New York City to L.A. following her decision to come out as transgender.

Streaming on Netflix starting on Sept. 27, the film includes appearances from SNL alums such as Tina Fey , Kristen Wiig , Colin Jost , Will Forte , Molly Shannon , Seth Meyer s, and Tim Meadows .
