    Field hockey

    First Colonial’s Rylee Brooks-Booth scored five goals in a victory over Ocean Lakes.

    Grassfield’s Courtney Brock scored on an assist from Kaydence Holland to give the Grizzlies a 1-0 win over Western Branch.

    Hickory’s Ashlyn Martel scored off a penalty corner from Caroline Jones in the final four minutes during a 1-0 victory over Menchville.

    Boys soccer

    Norfolk Collegiate’s Jayden Walker scored a hat trick in a victory over Steward.

    Boys volleyball

    Great Bridge’s Charlie Cooper had five aces and 36 assists and Johnathan Badowski finished with 15 kills in a 3-2 victory over then-No. 5 Grassfield.

    Cox’s Zach Hamilton registered 22 kills and six digs in a three-set victory over Ocean Lakes.

    Girls volleyball

    Grafton’s Kenzie Smith recorded 14 kills and Alana Washington added 11 kills in a victory over Tabb.

    Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s Marin McGowan tallied 20 serve points, six aces and eight kills during a win over Isle of Wight Academy.

    Golf

    Deep Creek’s Demi Mahiai was the medalist for her eighth consecutive match, shooting a 1-under-par 70 at Battlefield Golf Club in Chesapeake against Oscar Smith and Indian River.

    Cox’s Brady Dunn was the medalist in a victory against Ocean Lakes and Green Run with a 1-under-par 69 at Kempsville Greens Golf Club.

    Cox’s Paul Arthur Roth shot 69 for the medal at Red Wing Lake Golf Course as the Falcons outplayed First Colonial and Green Run.

    Though Princess Anne lost to Kellam and Tallwood, the Cavaliers’ Fin Worrall shot a 3-under 69 at Stumpy Lake for the medal.

    Grassfield’s Ellie Howell fired an even-par 70 for the medal in a matchup of two of the area’s best teams, a 298-308 victory by the Grizzlies over Great Bridge at Battlefield Golf Club in Chesapeake.
