The undefeated Kansas City Chiefs are fresh off of a 22-17 "Sunday Night Football" win over the Atlanta Falcons, but the page has already been turned to Week 4.

Patrick Mahomes and company will hit the road again on Sunday for a divisional clash against the rival Los Angeles Chargers. Now, they'll have to prepare for a new, talented wide receiver in the coming days.

According to NFL insider Jordan Shultz on Monday, the Chargers are signing a former first-round wide receiver six days ahead of their second AFC West matchup of the season.

Per Schultz, Jalen Reagor is joining Jim Harbaugh's practice squad and there's a "likelihood he eventually gets elevated to the active roster." That timing remains unclear as of Monday, however.

The 25-year-old wideout was originally selected No. 21 overall by the Philadelphia Eagles in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft — one pick ahead of Justin Jefferson and a few shy of Brandon Aiyuk, Tee Higgins and Michael Pittman Jr.

Reagor hasn't had nearly as much on-field success, though. The former TCU star was most recently with the New England Patriots, who cut him on Sept. 17 following a cryptic social media post showing a fancy sports car sitting underneath a dilapidated carport.

Under then-head coach Bill Belichick in 2023, Reagor, who flashed sub-4.3 40-yard dash speed out of college, suited up for 11 games but caught only seven passes for 138 yards.

Now in his fifth season, Reagor's NFL career stat line features 79 receptions, 937 yards, four touchdowns and 100 rushing yards on 19 attempts.
